A new start for Sumaiya

Sumaiya has passed Grade 10. This is a milestone for the girl who was close to dropping out of school after her father died of cancer in 2019. Worse, her family started talking of getting her married. The 15-year-old was adamant she wanted to finish school and luckily, her mother, though she had no means, stood by her. Hope Unlimited too supported Sumaiya by paying her school fee and giving her a living allowance. The girl now joins a commerce course for Grade 11 in her school. Good luck Sumaiya!
