World Mental health day 2020

10 October 2020 was World Mental Health Day. Hope Unlimited was invited by Yuvathi, another NGO based in Chennai. 

Yuvathi strives to create a future for women, irrespective of any role and their vision is that women grow to be self-reliant, emotionally independent and become the driving force for social change.

This year’s Mental Health Day was about the need for investment in mental health. 

While Yuvathi focuses on women’s issues, Hope Unlimited focuses on empowerment of girls. Women face additional challenges in many countries, including in India. As organisations, both Yuvathi and Hope Unlimited see the empowerment of girls and women as an essential part of personal development and for the healthy development of a society.
