Overall Mental Wellbeing of Students

Impact

Hope Unlimited supported a project from the NGO Yuvathi to improve mental health in school children: the ‘School Happiness Intervention Program’ (SHIP).

SHIP was inaugurated in August 2023 for about 30 students of a Government school. In the last months of 2023, SHIP conducted activities with the students about the topics ‘Understanding your mind and behavior’, ‘Power of thoughts’ and ‘How to develop a positive attitude’. The sessions were well received by the students and all actively participated. After the sessions, the monitoring and evaluation results showed that the emotional, social and students psychological wellbeing was found to be ‘above average’.
