Hope Unlimited and DAXO Events, in collaboration with Action Aid Association in India, organised a drawing workshop on Saturday 4 January 2025 in Chennai. Ten children from marginalised backgrounds in Tamil Nadu got the opportunity to showcase their talent and make drawings about flowers or people. On top of that there was impromptu singing and dancing! The families of the children have limited resources but are committed to ensuring that their children get the best education they can afford.
All children received a certificate of participation and a memento to further encourage them to develop their talents. The ten drawings are published on Connect, the digital magazine for children from Hope Unlimited. Three drawings received a ‘special mention’. Besides, one drawing has been printed on a T-shirt.
Hope Unlimited gave all ten children a scholarship directly transferred into their bank accounts to be used for their education.

Hope Unlimited gave the 10 children a new scholarship for the 2025 - 2026 academic year. In addition, two more girls, Jershlin and Ashifa, received a scholarship to help with their schooling in the new academic year.
